Finding the Right Tennis Shoes

With the physical activity involved in the sport it is clear that having the right clothes for the game is important. This is especially true for tennis shoes. The right tennis shoes for your game should fit well, should be comfortable and be built right. Also, they should be able to handle the ground easily.

Tennis shoes have been important to players throughout the history of tennis. The first tennis shoes were introduced in 1893, and they were used to eliminate the need for more formal shoes in the spot. However, over time tennis shoes have become more fashionable, but the most important part is their ability to help players with their games.

There are different kinds of materials that go into tennis shoes, and it is important to look for them in a pair. Canvas is needed for upper materials, as they allow the feet to breathe and have air circulate around them. This means that chemicals will not enter the skin easily. Leather is also common, as it helps to keep the feet dry. Vinyl is useful too, as they can keep the feet dry, but they can make them wet during hotter seasons.

The upper materials for tennis shoes should be durable, but that cannot always be the case for the lower parts. The soles can be damaged easily because of the tough physical activity involved in the game. It is important to check the soles of tennis shoes before buying a pair so you know that it is durable.

The type of feet you have should be considered when looking for tennis shoes. Pronated feet have low arches that move with the heels landing first, and supinated feet have high arches. Pronated feet can wear out the heels of tennis shoes while cushioning is not a concern, and supinated feet can wear out the edges of tennis shoes easily while fall protection is needed.

Neutral feet can wear out shoes around the entire soles. This means that cushioning and fall protection should be especially used equally. Of course, not everyone has neutral feet.

No matter what type of feet you have you’ll need to get tennis shoes with the right ankle support. This means that the ankles should not wear out easily while wearing the tennis shoes during a match.

After you find out what type of feet you have and what to look for in the build of tennis shoes you can look for tennis shoes at your local store. There are various different brands of tennis shoes on the market today. Many major groups like Nike, Adidas, Reebok and Converse make tennis shoes. New Balance, Asics and Etnies are also popular brands.

Be sure to consider all of this information when you go shopping for tennis shoes. With the right tennis shoes that fit your feet and will support your type of feet you can get the right performance and comfort that you need from tennis shoes. They can help to make your game better.
